two days and it will be six months! saw my dentist today who was ecstatic that I'd given up and she said she could see a huge difference in my gums and teeth! And as part of my fitness regime I'm going to take part in a It's a knockout for our local hospice - Strathcarron. Six months ago I couldn't have imagined having the stamina to do this - now my heart is healthier and I'm healthier it's time to make a difference for others...

I've now no idea where I am on the quit cycle in terms of weeks but reckon I'm fast approaching the five month mark. Last weekend I survived another test which was our annual bike rally in Shetland. It was very difficult but then I consoled myself with the poor sods who were trying to light ciggies in 80mph winds! And on the ferry I didn't have to keep nipping outside. I've been in Bombay for a week working and again - with it being Monsoon season I don't need to worry about dodging the rain to have a fix.

STILL HERE!!!! Doing flipping great if i do say so myself, although don't go much on this weight watchers malarchy!!! Need to do something to lose the stone, yes a whole one!!

Can't believe it took me so long to give up the dreaded weed, should have done it ages ago!! Yucky stuff that it is.

Hey Kit Kat - I'm guessing you passed the mark........... are you now on your longest quit ever?? That's a great reason never to have another one of those nasty cancer sticks again right?!

    Love to all.

    xx
