I don't have the CD of Allen Carr, but I down loaded the book and have started reading it. I'm going to check into the CD also since I drive 30 mins one way to work. So far so good on the not smoking and going cold turkey. I have had cravings but I try to think back to when I felt so bad and I thoguth I was having a heart attack that it goes away then. Thanks for being here for me, how's your quit going?
I actually went back to smoking again BUT....yesterday I felt like I was going to have a heart attack and almost called my mom to take me to the emergancy room and I know this all steams from smoking. Which I think it was mostly indegestion and anxiety but still scared me enough, I lite one last cig and told him, look best friend you are killing me and I am only 43 years with two beautiful girls that I want to see my grand babies one day and you are not going to take that from me so this is our final time together as you are not my best friend anymore! Something like that but it felt good to say a good bye to Nico I have never done that before and I am actually cold turkey since 6:30pm Oct 17th, 2010 but I do have patches and lozenges right here. But after the way I felt yesterday and I KNOW most if it is cause from smoking that I don't ever want to have that feeling again cause it also scared my daughter which she is 18 but still she said mommy I don't want you to have a heart attack!
But thank you so much for checking on me makes me feel good. How are you doing in your quit?
I wanted to check in and see how you are doing? I haven't been doing good, but starting back with a quit again today! Just to expensive and of course un-healthy! I'm gonna try cold turkey but have patches and lozenges!
Hope all is doing well with you!
Mic.
Hey, yes well done!!! You sound as if you're going to be taking a step away from the boards - I wish you all the very best in your quit, be sure to pop back and let me know how you're doing!!!
It does tail off. BUT, keep in mind this place for any unexpected cravings you may get hit with. Its always worth keeping it to hand. I am good. Nearly 20 months down, 40 odd years to go!
Ok, I haven't been doign very well so I bought 2 weeks worth of patches and put the first one on today. I can't afford to smoke and it's not good for me, so I have started today but don't want to post because I "always" fail, but this time I'm gonna give it 110%! How are you doing?
