Hi - thought I would message you on here instead of the forums. I also suffer from asthma and allergies and since giving up I have been really wheezey and now have a chest infection. I dont know if you take any tablets on a daily basis but I take tablets to help my allergies and found Champix stopped them working. Apparently its all to do with the receptors they all block. My ventolin still worked but that was about it. Not sure if there are any known conflicts with any other form of NRT etc. It could be that the lungs are just adjusting!! I totally empathise with you. I felt better when I was smoking!! I just keep thinking that maybe I have to go through this when I quit so if I dont see it through now then I will have to at some time in the future.
