About Me

  • Signature
I started smoking at 19. I smoked 40 cigarettes per day for 19 years. I stopped trying to kill myself on 16 December 2011.

"In 1973 I was smoking 80 cigarettes a day. I went to the doctor [and he] frightened the pants off me... I left 80 Embassy and a gold Dupont lighter on his desk and never smoked again.” -- Jim Bowen

"... I thought of [my father] on his deathbed. I held up the cigarette and studied it. 'Who's stronger - you or me?' I asked. I never smoked again.." -- Kirk Douglas
