Default shout out to the new year 11 quitters

Hey Guys,

I thought I'd say hi to the new years quitters of 2011... I am still an ex smoker... have got to the point where I literally don't even think about the dreaded fags at all anymore.. no cravings, nothing!

I didn't think I'd get to the point that being an ex smoker felt like the norm... it's lovely the feel totally free of them.... how is everyone else getting on?? hope you are all well.

xxx

I'm still here, and feel the same as you! I've had a few tough times lately - bereavements etc - where the thought of smoking has crossed my mind. But that's all it did; I dismissed the thought of lighting up as fast as it came into my head, because I wouldn't give up this freedom for anything.

So glad you're still going strong! The NY 2011 quitters were a committed bunch

Hi Everyone

I'm still here too!!!!! Over 14 months quit now.

I never think about smoking now it just doesn't even enter my head.

Good luck to all the newbies on here. Just keep going and honestly it will be you feeling like this before you know it.

It's been a hard journey but so worth it.

I'm now also back to the same weight I was before I gave up so i've lost 1 and a half stone!!!
