My own fault really....I always go out on a Tuesday night to bingo with the old biddies (sorry to you older generation out there but I am younger than everyone by at least 30 years
). I asked DH earlier for his opinion on whether or not I should drink tonight...bear in mind he didn't realise I'd stopped smoking til I told him this evening. He said to do what I felt most comfortable with. So I went out, had a few beers, gritted my teeth (and nearly ate the furniture as I have no nails) but I managed it . Was even asked if I was going out for a fag or if I'd just had one..... I replied .... no, I don't smoke. Not I've given up, even though we always used to go out for a fag together, just I don't smoke. He was really pleased. So I'm glad I looked temptation in the face tonight as drinking is my downfall, but now I have got over tonight, hopefully everything will be fine.

Really positive post, Rachel!
That's a big, big hurdle crossed (just for the first time, mind). Well done you!

Well done. Keep up your guard mind! The nicodemons won't accept defeat that easy...they'll come again when you're weaker. Be prepared to fight them off!....always be ready for those vulnerable moments which WILL come.
Very positive post...keep winning!! |
