Day 40, still smoke free.
![]() I'm feeling a lot better today, have passed my cold on to my husband though, he isn't too pleased. ![]() It still seems awfully strange at times not smoking. I still forget at times and think "I'll just have a cig before I do that".

I did patches and dropped slowly from 21mg to 14mg. You wont notice much with the positive mindset you are showing Good Times hey and they will get so much better with practice Well Done you Star, just keep building on your success to keep your smoke free life going for our ultimate goal Freedom ![]() Chrissie x |

Hi wendyann,
Well done on 42 days and for sticking with the patches that long. I always intended doing the full course myself, but just got so sick of putting them on everyday, itching like crazy for 1/2 hour and being left covered in red blotches. I ended up doing 2 weeks step 1, 1 week step 2, and I think 4 days on step 3 before giving them up. I can't say I really noticed any big changes with the step downs, maybe just a couple of odd dreams again, but I see those as a bonus. Anyway, just wanted to say well done you.

Day 43, still smoke free.
![]() I dropped down a size in patch today. Must admit I do feel a bit more "jittery". I'm sticking with the plan though.

![]() I still feel a little "on edge" and having a few more cravings than usual but I suppose it is to be expected when you drop down in patch strength. It is all doable though. I'm really trying to contain my appetite, I seem to finish one meal and then am looking forward to the next.

Well done Wendyann,
I step down next week. Last time I quit I just felt a bit woozy for a couple of days. Took me a while to realise it was because of that though. I stopped using the patches early last time but gonna run the course this time. So are you on dinner/tea allready today then ![]() ![]() G xx
